History

Collé was founded over 120 years ago in Isenbruch. Originally, Collé was a farm that also included a blacksmith shop and a café. The primary activities of the blacksmith shop involved shoeing horses and forging light agricultural tools suitable for use behind horses, such as plows and cultivators. Over time, the blacksmith shop evolved into a modern mechanization business for its era, including tractors, mowers, and threshing machines. The workforce also grew rapidly, expanding from the family plus one apprentice to 5 or 6 employees. At that time, there was already a distinction between the workshop and the sales department.

1963
Collé continued to expand, and in 1963, the second branch was opened in Limbricht. In Limbricht, agriculture was thriving, and mechanization was increasingly implemented. The staff in Limbricht consisted of two salespeople, one warehouse employee, and six technicians.

1978
The completion of the new building at Nusterweg 90 in Sittard marked a significant milestone. The new branch featured a showroom, workshop, offices, storage facilities, and a demonstration area. From that time on, Collé had access to a well-equipped workshop, which has been continuously updated to this day.

1996
From this year onward, the product range was further expanded to include earthmoving machinery, forklifts, telehandlers, and aerial work platforms from brands such as Neuson and Manitou. These are originally highly durable and reliable machines from Austria and France.
